Nikki Leeuwis oversees research and innovation at Unravel Research. She keeps a close eye on the latest developments within consumer neuroscience, ensuring Unravel’s methodologies adhere to – and add to – the latest scientific standards. Additionally, she is a PhD Candidate in the neuroscience of sustainable decision making, based upon a collaborative project between Unravel Research and Tilburg University. Her scientific research explores the consumer motivations driving sustainable consumption, applying neuroscience and psychology to explain and bridge the ‘intention-behavior’ gap that exists in this area. Her background lies in psychology, cognitive neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Following these interests, she has several published papers in the area of brain computer interfaces and neuroscience. Unravel Research is a neuromarketing company based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The company applies biometric research to answer tough marketing questions. Our research adopts state of the art EEG and Eye Tracking technologies, allowing our global clients to gain insight into their customer’s intuitive response to advertising, packaging, pricing, ecommerce and other marketing touch points.
