Dr David Rosenstein is the co-founder and lead neuroscientist at Neural Sense™, a neuromarketing company that conducts neuroscience driven marketing research using brain monitoring, biometric and eye-tracking technologies. As the scientific backbone of the Neural Sense™ team, David’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all projects are both scientifically robust and ethically sound. David is a behavioural scientist and psychologist who received his PhD in neuroscience, from the department of Psychiatry at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He has over a decade of experience in the field of neuromarketing and the practical application of consumer neuroscience techniques and technologies to solve business research objectives. His work enables clients to enhance advertising effectiveness and elevate customer experiences, providing them with a competitive advantage through human-centric business intelligence. This includes expertise in the areas of advertising testing, in-store shopper marketing and online user experience research. As a practicing Clinical Psychologist, David specialises in anxiety disorders and obsessive- compulsive spectrum disorders in children, teenagers and adults - providing cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). David is an honorary lecturer and a supervisor of both Masters and PhD students at the University of Cape Town’s Commerce Faculty, and leads the Neural Sense™ Scholarship Program which provides funding and access to research equipment for students to pursue academic research in the field of consumer neuroscience. In addition to this David is currently an active board member of the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, whose aim is to become the most creative business school in the world-teaching the great creators, inventors, leaders and entrepreneurs of the 21st Century.
