UNICEF promo campaign “Talk Against Violence”

People are generally unaware of psychological abuse: 1 of 2 Ukrainians unable to recognize manifestations of psychological violence according to UNICEF Ukraine.
However, 75% of children in Ukraine are regularly subjected to violent discipline, as well as 1.100.000 Ukrainian women are facing domestic violence every year. In order to motivate people to have a talk with their families, and thus not to let violence in their relations in the future MindIt did a neuroscience experiment to show people what psychological violence is and why it is so destructive for people. In this presentation, Nikolaos Dimitriadis shows how EEG and eye-tracking showed how psychological violence destroys us from the inside.
